These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the BasiDocs platform, operated by Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda (VAT: PT516453769), incorporated in Portugal. By accessing or using BasiDocs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
BasiDocs is a GxP quality management SaaS (Software as a Service) platform assisted by artificial intelligence, designed for companies in the pharmaceutical, medicinal cannabis, biotechnology, laboratory and distribution sectors. The service includes an AI-based Quality Assistant, document management, Deviations, Non-Conformances, CAPA, HACCP, Audits and Audit Trail modules.
BasiDocs is a support tool and does not replace qualified consultants, Qualified Persons (QP) or any regulated professional. Documents generated by the platform must be reviewed and approved by qualified personnel before any regulatory use.
To use BasiDocs, you must create an account with a valid, verified email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities carried out on your account.
You must immediately notify Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda of any unauthorised use of your account. The company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Only individuals or authorised company representatives may create accounts. Creation of automated accounts or bots is prohibited.
BasiDocs offers monthly subscription plans: Starter (€59/month + VAT), Growth (€199/month + VAT) and Enterprise (€399/month + VAT), as well as a free plan with limited features and a GxP Pro service (€3,500 + VAT) for one-time consulting.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorise automatic charging of the plan value at the beginning of each billing cycle. Prices shown exclude VAT, which will be applied in accordance with applicable tax law.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation can be made at any time in account Settings and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are made for partial periods, except where required by law.
Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda reserves the right to change prices with 30 days prior notice.
Documents and records generated through BasiDocs belong to the user or the company that created them. Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda makes no claim to ownership of user-created content.
The BasiDocs platform, including its code, design, algorithms and document templates, is the exclusive property of Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
The user grants Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to process their data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
The user agrees not to use BasiDocs to:
• Create fraudulent or misleading documents for regulatory submission without qualified review
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Share access credentials with unauthorised third parties
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer the platform
• Use the platform for illegal or harmful purposes
Violation of these conditions may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
BasiDocs is provided "as is" and "as available". Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any specific regulatory purpose without qualified human review.
The total liability of Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda to the user, for any claim relating to these Terms, is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Responsibility for the regulatory use of generated documents rests solely with the user and the qualified professionals who approve them.
Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of all information submitted by users on the platform, including documents, facility data and industrial processes.
User information will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law, by court order, or with essential service providers (such as cloud servers) bound by equivalent confidentiality agreements.
Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda staff are bound by individual confidentiality obligations regarding all customer information.
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. For users in the European Union, European consumer rights also apply.
Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to the user's right to bring proceedings in the courts of their habitual residence if required by applicable law.
Users have the right to use the Consumer Dispute Arbitration Centre for alternative dispute resolution.
Basi-on, Unipessoal Lda reserves the right to update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a prominent notice on the platform with at least 30 days' notice.
Continued use of BasiDocs after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
